HMI's Featured UltraFrame™ design
ensures the strongest and most secure door structure for your home's safety.
A hidden 14 gauge reinforced steel frame along with ball bearing hinges is designed
for those specific customers who want the elegant look of a beautiful entryway
with the added security of a reinforced frame. An exclusive HMI product, the
Patented Ultraframe™ adds security in three key points: the deadbolt, knob,
and hinges. The reinforcing steel is hidden away inside and behind the door jamb
to ensure a seamless and elegant look. As shown in the picture the reinforcement
is not a flat piece of steel but an "L" shape which provides three-dimensional
strength.

WOOD
All HMI doors come standard with a 4-9/16" wood jamb,
primed and ready to be painted, allowing for easy finishing by your professional
installer. The jamb is constructed of finger-jointed wood providing high strength
and resistance against warping.

 TEXTURED
/ SMOOTH COMPOSITE
A new feature offered by HMI is the Rot and Warp-proof
Composite Jamb. Available in both textured and smooth surfaces, the composite
jamb allows for the customer to choose a jamb and finish to match their door
color. Customers can also choose a different finish for each side of the Jamb.
One to match the indoors and one to match the outdoors.
 The
Textured Composite Jamb may be finished with any HMI paint, wood stain or ordered
Colored Beige (standard). The Smooth Composite Jamb may be finished with any
HMI paint color or ordered White Capped (standard).

STEEL
REPLACEMENT FRAME

HMI's Steel Replacement Frame is built
to slide directly into your existing opening. It supplies incredible strength
without disturbing the existing opening construction. Made out of 18 gauge steel,
the Steel Replacement Frame has added reinforcement at both the knob lock and
deadbolt lock for added security. As show in the right picture, the Steel Replacement
Frame comes with three ball bearing tab-slot security hinges to prevent prying
attacks.
